Terms and Conditions

1. Bookings
It is the responsibility of the hirer to provide all the necessary information required on the booking form at the time of booking and to ensure that this is true and correct. This will enable Giddy Glampers to plan the delivery and installation of the hired equipment.

2. Hirer
The ‘Hirer’ means the person signing the booking form for ‘Hire of equipment’. 
It is the responsibility of the person(s) hiring the equipment to ensure that all reasonable steps are taken to avoid injury or prevent damage of the hired equipment.
It is the hirers responsibility to ensure that all of the equipment maintains its original condition for collection the next day. Any damage or lost items will be charged. The hirer has the right to look at equipment before we leave and let us know of any damages prior to our departure. The hirer will not be responsible for any damage caused during the installation by a member of Giddy Glampers staff.

3. Responsibility 
The Hirer is responsible for providing Giddy Glampers with all relevant medical/dietary information for all the children attending the party. Giddy Glampers will take no responsibility for allergies (including skin, food, materials etc) where they are not advised in advance of the condition. Giddy Glampers is likewise not responsible at any point, for the welfare of the children at the parties, which remains the full responsibility of the Hirer. The Hirer is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the information given to Giddy Glampers and to pass over such information in sufficient time for Giddy Glampers to perform the contract safely and without risk, within 14 days of the event occurring, to avoid last minute disappointment. The Hirer is responsible/liable for any damage or injury occurring from or as a result of inappropriate use or misuse or reckless use of any of Giddy Glampers equipment. 
It is the Hirer's responsibility to ensure that the children are supervised at all times. Giddy Glampers will charge the hirer for the costs of any damage to any property caused by your breach of this clause. 
It is the Hirer's responsibility to ensure the children comply with all reasonable instructions from Giddy Glampers to ensure the safety of the attendees and other persons present. Giddy Glampers may suspend the event if you are in breach of this clause. 
Giddy Glampers will accept no liability or responsibility to the Hirer for any damages, costs, losses, claims, expenses, demands and proceedings including property of Hirer and their guests, or any consequential loss in these regards. 
Giddy Glampers shall use all reasonable endeavours to provide the services in accordance with the contract and shall perform the services with reasonable skill, care and diligence and in accordance with all health and safety regulations in force at this time. 

4. Supervision
The Hirer is responsible for the care and safety of all the children and should ensure that all parent/guardians are aware that Giddy Glampers is not responsible for the care and safety of the children. 
The Hirer accepts all responsibility for all children that have been left by their parent/guardian. 
We would recommend that the Hirer of the party take contact telephone numbers of the children attending if their parent/guardian is not staying, at the same time as clarifying any medical/allergic conditions at least 14 days in advance of the event. 
Whilst we love our furry friends, we ask in the interest of health and hygiene that domestic pets are not allowed access to the hire equipment. Any additional cleaning as a result of access to the equipment by pets may result in an additional charge.

5. Prices, Deposits & Payments
All prices are subject to change, however prices quoted at the time of booking will be honoured.
A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required at the time of booking to secure your event date. Deposits can be paid by PayPal or bank transfer. We also require a fully refundable security deposit of £90, the deposit is refundable once the equipment has been collected undamaged and fully tested. (Normally within 48 hours).
The remaining balance based on the number of tents required and any extras, is to be paid in full 14 days prior to the event date so that we have cleared funds in our bank account prior to delivery of the goods. Payments not made within this time frame will result in the cancellation of your event with no exception.

6. Cancellations
Giddy Glampers require 14 days’ notice prior to the date of the party for cancellations. No refunds will be given to cancellations made within 14 days of the party. The £50 deposit to secure the date at the time of booking is non-refundable. 
If a hirer would like to change the date of a party a minimum of 14 days notice is required. 
Giddy Glampers reserves the right to cancel the booking at any time for any reason (Giddy Glampers will try to give as much notice as possible). 
Upon any such cancellation Giddy Glampers will refund to the Hirer any monies paid to Giddy Glampers in respect of the booking but Giddy Glampers will not be liable to pay any compensation to the Hirer or any other person for any loss, damage or expenditure arising directly or indirectly from the cancellation. 
Giddy Glampers reserves the right to terminate the booking without notice if there is a breach of these conditions. 

7. Equipment
All hired equipment remains the property of Giddy Glampers at all times. 
Whilst you are in possession of the hire equipment, we ask for a holding deposit of £90. Any damages or stains to tents, bedding or any other hire equipment will result in the holding of all or part of the £90 security deposit. Should this not cover the cost of cleaning, or replacement, additional charges will be invoiced to the hirer to cover these. 
Any damage to equipment caused by neglect, misuse, loss or failure to follow instructions provided, will deem the hirer liable for full repair or replacement costs in addition to any loss of business. The security deposit will be held in full or as part payment and any additional costs will be invoiced to the hirer.
All sizes quoted are approximate.
Giddy Glampers reserves the right to substitute hired equipment with that of a similar value and type without notice in the event of previous loss or damage.
Equipment shall be used only for the intended hired purposes. Climbing or hanging on to the tents is dangerous and MUST NOT be allowed.
It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure duty of care and supervise children at all times with the hired equipment. 
Giddy Glampers recommend our services for children of the age of 6 and over. It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that any children below the age of 6 are supervised at all times whilst using the equipment. Children under the age of 6 must not be left overnight in the hired equipment unsupervised. 
Smoking is strictly prohibited for fire hazard and to prevent cigarette smoke odour on the tents and equipment. If this is ignored and the equipment is returned having been in a smoke environment, the security deposit of £90 will not be refunded and will be used to clean or replace the equipment as necessary.
All shoes, and sharp objects should be removed prior to use of the equipment.
To avoid stains that we cannot remove, Giddy Glampers ask the following:
any nail varnish recently applied must be completely dry before entering the equipment. It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure this. No food or drink is to be consumed on or within the equipment. If children are wearing any makeup, we ask that this is fully removed before bedtime and snuggling up in bed. No fabric pens, pens, paints, crayons nail polish or markers are used in or around the tents.

8. Delivery, Installation, Site locations, Facilities and Conduct
All equipment is delivered, assembled and styled by Giddy Glampers and included in our prices within a 20-mile radius of Stevenage, Hertfordshire. If the hirer lives outside of this 20-mile radius a quotation cost for delivery will be provided.
Giddy Glampers will ensure that all equipment is safe and working prior to installation at the event.
In the event of traffic, or any other uncontrollable circumstances preventing us from delivery of the equipment at the agreed set up time, Giddy Glampers will be limited to a refund of any monies paid in relation to the contracted event or a pro rata reduction fee in the hire fee in the event of a delayed start. No further compensation will be paid.
It is the responsibility of the hirer to check that they have adequate room for the required tents and suitable access and parking for delivery and installation of the equipment.
The hirer must ensure that the party area is clean and safe ready for the installation of the tents and rugs. Any delay in access to the venue will result in a £10 charge per 15 minutes over the arranged set up time. Charges will be rounded up to the nearest 15 minutes delay.
Giddy Glampers reserves the right to refuse delivery and installation should the venue or site be deemed unsuitable. In this case the full hire fee will be due and non-refundable. The security deposit of £90 will be refunded to the hirer. 
Once the equipment has been installed the hirer agrees to not move or tamper with any of the equipment.
All equipment must remain inside at all times.
It will take between 60 - 90 minutes for Giddy Glampers to install the hired equipment. We ask that during the installation, the area is kept free of distractions, so as to not delay the installation process. 
Giddy Glampers reserves the right to remove equipment should they feel that the customers conduct or use of the equipment be dangerous to themselves, anyone using the equipment or the safety of the hired equipment. In all such cases, the equipment will be removed, and no refunds will be given. At no time will any level of abuse be tolerated towards Giddy Glampers staff.
Giddy Glampers will return the next day, at the agreed time, to dismantle and remove the hired equipment. An inspection of the tents and items will be done prior to breakdown. Any delay in access to the hired equipment will result in a £10 charge per 15 minutes over the arranged time. Charges will be rounded up to the nearest 15 minutes delay.

9. Liability 
Nothing in these terms shall limit or exclude the liability of Giddy Glampers, which may not be limited or excluded by law, including without limitation liability for death or personal injury caused by Giddy Glampers negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation. 
Subject to the above, Giddy Glampers shall have no liability (whether arising under contract, tort, or for breach of statutory duty or otherwise) to the extent that such liability would not have arisen but for the Hirer’s breach of the contract. 
Subject to the above clauses, Giddy Glampers aggregate liability for all claims in relation to the contract (whether arising under contract, tort, or for breach of statutory duty or otherwise) shall not exceed the price paid by the Hirer. 
This contract is governed and construed in accordance with English law and the parties irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England. 
No information included in this booking form will be disclosed to any third party. It is the responsibility of the Hirer to inform guests accordingly of the above terms and conditions. 
Giddy Glampers has suitable public liability insurance and takes the utmost care to ensure the safety of all party guests at all times. Giddy Glampers tents and canopies are independently tested and marked CE in accordance with the Toy Safety Regulations UK 2011.


We use high quality products and follow strict hygiene routines. 
Liability cannot be taken for reactions or injury sustained whilst attending a party or thereafter. 
All persons using Giddy Glampers equipment do so at their own risk and it is the party hirer who is responsible / liable for any damage or injury occurring from or as a result of inappropriate use or misuse or reckless use. 
This information is given for the safety of all people attending a party hired from Giddy Glampers and it is the sole responsibility of the Hirer to ensure that they are understood and adhered to by all party guests invited. 
Any inadvertent delay, omission, or error in complying with the terms and conditions of this Contract shall not be held to relieve either party hereto from any liability, which would attach to it hereunder if such delay, omission, or error had not been made, provided such delay, omission, or error is rectified upon discovery.

Giddy Glampers shall process all data in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 which include the new rules on GDPR. 
Some produce used may contain traces of nuts or may have been made in a factory that handles nuts. Please carefully check all ingredients before use/application. 
It is not the intention of Giddy Glampers to violate any copyright laws and all themes are only inspired by popular trends.
